Our Polaris Ranger 500 windshield is made with scratch-resistant polycarbonate. Why? Our 1/4â polycarbonate is the most impact resistant windshield material you can get. Itâs perfectly suited for off-road action where cracking or breaking can ruin a ride. When you combine it with our proprietary XR Optic Hard Coating, you get a windshield thatâs 250 times stronger than glass, incredibly scratch resistant, and virtually indestructible.
XR Optic Hard Coating
This vented windshield is hard coated on both sides using our proprietary XR Optic Hard Coating. It gives better scratch resistance and UV protection than you can get anywhere else. With better scratch resistance, you wonât have to worry about this windshield turning into a streaky mess when you run through brush or flying dirt. Better UV resistance prevents yellowing, sun spots, or fading just from riding in the sun.
